What is it?

Canberra Beer Week (CBW) is a week-long event showcasing the best of Australian and international brewers and breweries, featuring tap-takeovers, brewer’s talks, beer and food matching meals, and incorporating the successful Beer Day Out beer festival.

 

When is it?

Canberra Beer Week will run from Thursday 3rd – Sunday 13th November 2016

 

Who runs it?

Canberra Beer Week is run and co-ordinated by Beer ACT, a new not for profit organisation made up of like minded individuals from beer related Canberra businesses. Our goal is to promote the Canberra Beer scene.

 

What does it cost to put on an event?

Canberra Beer Week charges the venue a set price depending on the numbers attending the event. For more information on prices, contact info@canberrabeerweek.com.

How is the event marketed?

Canberra Beer Week is supported by a strategic marketing plan with advertising via the CBW website, official programme, and print and social media. It is also fully endorsed by the ACT Government. The official programme will have a print run of 8,000 and be positioned in high-profile strategic outlets.

 

How do bookings work?

This year, a centralised booking platform is provided through MoshTix.

 

Can I get help in planning my event?

Thirty breweries will be attending Beer Day Out as part of Canberra Beer Week. We can help you to match a brewery or a specific event to your venue and offer suggestions and ideas, ranging from brewer talks to tap takeovers; food and beer matching events to style comparisons.
